He ensured their entitlements were paid, against all odds.
This rare compassion threatened the corrupt status quo. The Vice Chancellor, in conspiracy with powers from the State Government, plotted his removal. Why? Because he was disrupting their old order. He was arriving at work by 8 a.m. He was cutting unnecessary travel expenses. He was holding the system accountable. And they couldn’t stand it.
SERVICE ROOTED IN EXPERIENCE
Unlike those whose only experience lies in politics, Engr. Ojo is a seasoned Civil Engineer, trained and tested in the field of infrastructure. He has worked across multiple states in Nigeria, handling major road projects and delivering results that are still standing today.
Ekiti’s road problems are not just political — they are technical. And it will take a man who understands both the science of development and the heart of the people to fix them. That man is Kayode Ojo.
Meanwhile, Gov. BAO has commissioned projects that are half-baked and unfit for the people. Not a single major infrastructure project has reached full completion under his watch. We must ask ourselves: Is this the leadership we deserve?
