Emir Sanusi, a Nigeria-interest corrigendum

…….His passion for the country is unparalleled among his contemporaries.

Dr. Josef Onoh, former campaign spokesman for President Bola Tinubu in the South East, has hailed the reinstatement of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the Emir of Kano as a “well thought-out corrigendum” by the people of the ancient northern Emirate.

Onoh praised Emir Sanusi as a worthy Nigerian Ambassador, whose passion for the country is unparalleled among his contemporaries. He noted that Emir Sanusi has made significant sacrifices for the nation, promoted Nigeria globally, and contributed immensely to the growth of democracy.

Onoh commended the people of Kano state for reversing the “obnoxious order” against Sanusi, describing it as a “mistake” and a “nuisance”. He expressed his admiration for their maturity in reinstating Emir Sanusi, which has maintained peace in the Emirate, benefiting the state and Nigeria as a whole.

“I wish Emir Sanusi many more successful and prosperous years on his renewed throne, continuing his advancement of democracy in Nigeria,” Onoh said. He reiterated his reverence for the people of Kano state, who have demonstrated wisdom and foresight in their decision, ensuring a peaceful and prosperous future for the Emirate and the country.
