Ekweremadu: Family & Friend Celebrate Jailed Senator’s Birthday in Absentia
Family members and friends of Mr. Ike Ekweremadu have gathered to celebrate the birthday of the jailed senator in absentia.
A former National Publicity Secretary of the PDP (Peoples Democratic Party) Olisa Metuh organized the birthday party to celebrate the former deputy Senate President, Ekweremadu.
Oir heritage reporter online reported that in May, 2023, one year ago, a United Kingdom court sent Ekweremadu and his wife, Beatrice, to four years and six months imprisonment over a crime that they plotted to harvest another person’s kidney. They denied wrongdoings that time.
Metuh celebrated the birthday even though the former senator was not around for his 62nd birthday anniversary. His daughters and other family members were on ground.
