EFCC Arrests Content Creator Young Cee In Kaduna For Alleged Naira Abuse
According to a statement released by the EFCC on Monday, Young Cee was captured in a video shared on his TikTok and Instagram accounts throwing Naira notes on the ground and deliberately stepping on them.
Muhammed Kabir Sa’ad, a social media content creator known as Young Cee, has been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Kaduna for allegedly abusing the Nigerian currency.
According to a statement released by the EFCC on Monday, Young Cee was captured in a video shared on his TikTok and Instagram accounts throwing Naira notes on the ground and deliberately stepping on them.
In the same video, he taunted the EFCC in Hausa, daring them to arrest him if they could.
Following the circulation of the video, EFCC operatives launched surveillance which led to his arrest in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna State. He was immediately taken to the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Commission for interrogation.
“He was subsequently picked up in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna State, through surveillance and conveyed to the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Commission for interrogation,” the EFCC stated.
The anti-graft agency further disclosed that Sa’ad would be charged in court upon the conclusion of his interrogation.
