Edo Migration Agency Boss, Hon. Lucky Agazuma, Advocates Mass Voter Registration

Benin City – The Director General of the Edo State Migration Agency, Hon. Chief Lucky Agazuma, has called on citizens of Edo State to make voter card registration a top priority as the nation prepares for upcoming elections.

Speaking during a sensitization engagement in Benin, Hon. Agazuma emphasized that the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) remains the most powerful tool for citizens to shape the future of their communities and the state at large. He urged Edo people, especially youths and women, to take advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise to ensure their voices are heard at the ballot box.

Hon. Agazuma further explained that beyond migration management, the Edo State Migration Agency is committed to promoting civic responsibility and active participation in democratic processes. He assured that the agency will continue to collaborate with relevant institutions and stakeholders to raise awareness across local government areas, rural communities, and urban centers.

He also charged traditional rulers, community leaders, and civil society organizations to support voter education campaigns and mobilize their people to register and collect their PVCs.

While reiterating his unwavering commitment to the progress of Edo State, Hon. Chief Agazuma encouraged citizens not only to register but also to ensure they come out en masse during elections to vote responsibly.
