I extend my warm greetings and heartfelt felicitations to the Christian community on the joyous occasion of Easter.
Easter is a season that represents the cornerstone of the Christian faith — the resurrection of Jesus Christ, symbolizing victory over death, hope in the midst of despair, and the promise of new beginnings. It is a time for deep reflection on the values of love, sacrifice, forgiveness, and redemption.
As a nation, we can draw valuable lessons from the essence of this holy season. Easter reminds us of the power of unity, peace, and selfless service. These values are crucial for peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, especially in a diverse society like ours. Without peace and mutual respect, there can be no meaningful development or progress.
