He stood behind Ezekwesili, who was telling the celebrant to say “Thank you” over and over. Obasanjo said he had already done that, but the ex-minister wouldn’t let it go. She asked him to grab the microphone and say “Thank you very much,” which the celebrant did, bringing laughter to the table, and he playfully tapped Ezekwesili.
