DISTINGUISHED ENTREPRENEUR SAHEED ADEYEMI ADEBISI ASCENDS TO NEW HEIGHTS AS AKEWEJE OF JIMBA OJA
The esteemed title of Akeweje of Jimba Oja has been bestowed upon Chief Saheed Adeyemi Adebisi, a visionary entrepreneur, community champion, and respected politician. This prestigious honour was conferred by His Royal Highness, Oba Adebayo Olanrewaju Ismail, The Gbamoyin of Jimba Oja, on Sunday, October 26, 2025.
A grand ceremony marked the occasion, held at the 1-year coronation celebration of the Jimba Oja monarch.
The event was graced by an impressive array of dignitaries, including top traditional rulers from Kwara South, led by His Royal Majesty, Olupo of Ajase-Ipo, Oba Ismail Adio Olanrewaju Adebayo Ajagungbade I, alongside influential business leaders and politicians. Notably present were Hadji (Hon.) Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf and Hon. Nuhu Mojeed Podo, Chairmen of Ifelodun and Ilorin South Local Government Areas, respectively.
The ceremony was electrified by a mesmerizing performance by the King of Music, Dr. Saheed Akorede Okunola, aka Saheed Osupa, whose soulful Fuji rhythms enthralled the gathering.
This distinguished honour is a testament to Chief Adebisi’s tireless efforts in community development, job creation, and societal growth. His passion for humanity and commitment to excellence have earned him this esteemed title.
