On this special occasion of Democracy Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings to you all. Today, we celebrate not just a system of government, but the resilience, sacrifice, and determination of the Nigerian people in their pursuit of freedom, justice, and good governance.
June 12 stands as a powerful symbol of our collective will and the enduring spirit of our democracy. It reminds us of the struggles of the past, the courage of our heroes, and the promise of a brighter future built on unity, equity, and accountability.
As we mark this significant day, let us remember that democracy is not just about elections—it is about active participation, responsible leadership, and shared commitment to nation-building. Together, we must continue to uphold the values of integrity, peace, and progress in all our actions.
