This Clarion and Important call become necessary In view of the Catastrophic, Devastating and Deteriorating Situation In Northern Nigeria, Our Region Is becoming decayed, negatively impacted and economically collapsed by Incessant Insecurity due to Excessive Poverty, Insecurity and Unemployment , While illiteracy is multiplying , Industrially the North is at a point that nothing is manufactured or produced in the region, not even the small scale cottage Industries are working now, because power supply is at its worst with the Northern region only receiving a fraction from the National grid. The Level of our water Supply and health care system is alarming since most of our rural areas have no hospitals, medical personnel or clean water supply source, it is pathetic to note that Agricultural production, Animal rearing and fish production is becoming impossible in most parts of Northern Nigeria because of Insecurity, most Northerners are living in despair, extreme difficulties, anguish, desperation,despondency
discouragement, mistery, Pain, sorrow situation,
dejection, disheartenment, trial
tribulation and a situation of wretchedness , our People seriously and urgently need help ,
Quick assistance, fast remedy and sustainable succor in form of Community Development programmes in water Supply, Agricultural Implements and Fertilizers , Skill acquisition centres, youth and women empowerment, small scale/ Cottage Industries, Educational support to the underprivileged, Educational Facilitaties in Rural areas and investments in power supply, Tertiary Education, industries, mechanised Agriculture, housing and other employment opportunities in Micro financial services to our down trodden Northerners who had become scavengers and hawkers in the south and are intimidated, harassed, killed and criminalise In the South West. South East and South South regions , there is urgent need to rescue our people , save them ,
recover their livelihood
retrieve their common heritage, raise their hope ,
reclaim their dignity, restore and reinstate their means of survival, we cannot allow our People to be swallow by homelessness,
anguish, desperation and sorrow, the southern Has sophisticated Community Development and social responsibility programmes provided by their own people, this include the Tony Elumelu Foundation
