Government through the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation has rolled out the Renewed Hope Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) 2.0, (NSIP) aimed at giving interest-free loans to market women across the country. These will encourage growth of locally established businesses, petty traders, market women micro enterprises across the country. The launched Market Moni 2.0 is structured to target 1.5 million Market Women across the 109 Market in 109 senatorial districts across Nigeria.
