Birthday Message to President Bola Tinubu from Hon. Aminu Suleiman, Chairman of Federal College of Education, Keana, Nassarawa State, and Board Member of the North West Development Commission
Your Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
On behalf of myself, the management and staff of the Federal College of Education, Keana, Nassarawa State, and as a proud Board Member of the North West Development Commission, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on the occasion of your 73rd birthday. It is indeed a moment of great joy to celebrate such an esteemed leader who has devoted his life to the service of our great nation, Nigeria.
Your journey in public service has been nothing short of inspiring, from your courageous stand during the years of military rule to your instrumental role in the fight for the democratic dispensation we enjoy today. You were unwavering in your commitment to ensuring that the democratic process would take root in Nigeria, and your efforts paved the way for the freedoms and rights we now cherish.
As the Governor of Lagos State, you transformed the state into an economic powerhouse, developing a model of governance that others across the country have come to admire. Your vision for urban development, infrastructure, and job creation set Lagos apart as a leader in innovation and development. Your leadership not only impacted Lagos but also reverberated across the nation as you demonstrated that effective governance is achievable with the right policies and the will to succeed.
Your time as the opposition leader after leaving office in 2007 further underscored your belief in a better, more inclusive Nigeria. You remained steadfast, engaging with political leaders across party lines, bridging divides, and making lasting political friendships that contributed to the formation of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Your leadership in the merger of opposition parties was a historic move that culminated in the landmark victory of the 2015 general elections, which saw the ruling party defeated, and Nigeria ushered into a new era of political evolution.
In 2023, your ascension to the presidency marked the culmination of decades of hard work, sacrifices, and visionary leadership. As President of Nigeria, you have continued to show resilience and a commitment to making Nigeria a better place for all its citizens.
Since taking office on May 29th, 2023, you have set the stage for transformational reforms across several sectors of our nation. In the area of agriculture, your administration has laid the foundation for increased food security and sustainable agricultural practices. Your focus on economic reforms has begun to yield positive results, and we are already witnessing a stabilization of the economy and improved investor confidence. In education, your administration’s focus on revamping the sector holds the promise of a more skilled workforce for the future, one that can compete globally.
The strides your government has made in oil and gas reforms and the focus on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as an alternative to fuel are indeed commendable. These initiatives will lead to long-term sustainability in our energy sector, reduce dependence on imported fuel, and ensure that Nigeria maximizes its potential in natural resources.
In transportation, your commitment to modernizing our infrastructure, particularly in aviation and rail, is already making a difference in improving mobility across the nation. The transformation of security, which is a key priority of your administration, will bring about the peace and stability necessary for economic prosperity.
Additionally, your leadership in international relations has elevated Nigeria’s standing on the global stage. Your efforts to strengthen bilateral relationships with countries and institutions are paving the way for Nigeria to become a central player in African and global affairs.
Your vision is already being realized in many ways, and the visible impact of these reforms, though still unfolding, will undoubtedly usher in a new era of growth, development, and stability for our beloved country. The work that remains to be done is immense, but under your guidance, we are confident that Nigeria will overcome its challenges and emerge stronger than ever.
On your 73rd birthday, we wish you continued good health, divine wisdom, and the strength to keep leading Nigeria towards the realization of its full potential. Your leadership is an inspiration to all of us, and we are grateful for the positive changes you continue to bring.
Once again, happy 73rd birthday, Mr. President! May the Almighty continue to guide and bless you as you work tirelessly to shape the future of Nigeria.
Yours sincerely,
Hon. Aminu Suleiman
