The Big Brother Naija reality show has announced the tragic passing of one of its crew members, Ayotunde Elegbede.
Host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu shared the sad news during Sunday’s live eviction show, revealing that the organisers were informed of Elegbede’s death by his family.
While details surrounding his passing were not disclosed, the announcement cast a sombre mood over the night’s proceedings.
Despite the grief, the eviction process went ahead, with two housemates leaving the competition. Danboskid was the first to be evicted, while Ibifubara was the second contestant to exit the show. Denari narrowly avoided eviction, as confirmed by the voting charts displayed after the programme.
