BBNaija: Kassia’s Instagram account locked: Official statement released
The management of BBNaija housemate Kassia has released an official statement confirming that her Instagram account has been locked.
The statement, shared on X (formerly Twitter), outlines the circumstances surrounding the account lockout and the only way it can be unlocked.

According to the statement, Kassia’s Instagram account was unexpectedly logged out on Thursday, 15th August 2024, without any prior notification from Meta.
The management claimed to be performing a security check and reset the email to one that the account owner does not have access to.
Despite various attempts to regain access, including contacting Meta support and utilizing professional help, the account remains locked.
The management even attempted to use Kassia’s lookalike sister to verify the account, but this approach was unsuccessful.
The only viable solution now is for Kassia herself to unlock the account, which can only happen once she exits the BBNaija house on the final day.

**OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FROM KASSIA’S MANAGEMENT**
Dear Kassia Lovers,
It is with heavy hearts that we release this press statement. On Thursday, 15th August 2024, our queen’s Instagram account was suddenly logged out on all devices without any prior notification or warning from Meta. Meta claimed to be conducting a security check and reset the email to one that even the owner doesn’t have access to.
We tried to log in using all possible options, but unfortunately, all our efforts proved abortive. We brainstormed and reached out to Meta support, family members, and even IG professionals to help fix this account, but Meta had locked it up. We eventually exhausted all our options except one—to verify the account using a selfie video. This is a major challenge because Kassia is still in the BBNaija house and will not leave until the final day.
Fortunately, Kassia has a lookalike sister who could easily pass for her twin. We tried our best to ensure this worked, but it didn’t. Right now, only Kassia can reopen the account when she leaves the Big Brother house on the final day as the winner.
