“Bauchi South Christian awareness forum Reaffirm Support for Eng. Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed’s 2027 Senate Bid”

A group Bauchi south Christian awareness forum paid a courtesy visit to Eng. Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed, the aspiring Senatorial candidate for the Bauchi South Senatorial District. The purpose of the visit was to reaffirm the Christian community’s commitment to the Kaura dynasty. This support is based on several key factors. Firstly, the Southern District’s commitment to His Excellency’s candidacy in 2019, which was publicly acknowledged by the governor himself. After the elections, the governor attested that the Christian minority in the region contributed 80% of their votes, which played a significant role in his victory.
In return for this support, the governor promised an inclusive government, free from religious, ethnic, or tribal discrimination. He has demonstrated this commitment by prioritizing the development of the region, particularly from Alkaleri to Toro, including communities that had previously been neglected due to religious or tribal affiliations. Major infrastructure projects, such as the renovation of primary and secondary schools, local government secretariats, hospitals, and places of worship, as well as various road projects, have been implemented across the Southern District. Additionally, key appointments of both men and women into important government positions have been made. These efforts have highlighted Kaura’s significant contributions to the history of Bauchi State, especially regarding the Southern Senatorial District.
The recent proposal to create the Sayawa Chiefdom, which is expected to be confirmed after 32 years of recommendations, further demonstrates the governor’s vision for inclusive governance and his determination to carry minorities along, despite opposition from those opposed to peace and progress. His quest to strengthen traditional institutions is evident in his renovation and construction of various district head offices, providing them with the necessary resources to perform their duties. These actions reflect His Excellency Senator Bala Abdulkadir Ahmed as a man of principle, dedicated to peace, progress, and the harmonious relationship of the people of Bauchi State.
Due to these remarkable achievements and the love he has shown for the people, the governor has earned the trust and confidence of the Southern Senatorial District. In recognition of the governor’s efforts, the people of the region are prepared to reciprocate by supporting anyone he endorses. They are willing and ready to give their full support to ensure his continued success. Furthermore, the Dangaladiman Duguri, despite not holding a political office, has made a significant impact on the lives of many people. This reflects his potential to carry forward the legacies of his father if given the opportunity. As a result, the group has expressed their commitment to supporting his aspirations.
The group, led by its leader Comrade, Mr Samaila Bajama assured Shamsudeen of their support and their readiness to mobilize youths, women, and the elderly to actively engage in the project for the ultimate benefit of the region and its people. In response, the Dangaladiman Duguri, Eng. Shamsudeen Bala Mohammed, expressed his appreciation for the kind gesture extended to the Kaura family and the confidence placed in his ability to represent the people of the district. He promised to continue his efforts in helping others and offering support wherever necessary. Finally, he wished the Christian community a joyous & peaceful Christmas.
