At the launch of the 2025 Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan in Abuja, I reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of President Ahmed Tinubu to supporting vulnerable groups through strengthened social safety nets and inclusive policies.

The plan prioritizes the North East, displaced persons, women, and persons with disabilities, focusing on durable solutions that provide sustainable livelihoods and essential services. The tripod approach of humanitarian assistance, peacebuilding, and sustainable development remains our guiding framework for lasting impact.

We deeply appreciate the collaboration of the UN, international donors, INGOs, NGOs, CSOs, and government officials in driving this mission forward. Together, we can build a more inclusive and resilient Nigeria.
