Army Graduates 193 Boys from Nigerian Military School Zaria

The Nigerian Army says it is committed to building a well-educated, professionally competent, and future-ready force to meet the defence needs of the nation.

Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, stated this at the 67th Passing Out Parade of the Nigerian Military School (NMS) in Zaria.

The Passing Out Parade marks the completion of six years of rigorous academic and military training for 193 boys of the Nigerian Military School, Zaria.

It is a transformative journey that has shaped them into disciplined, resilient, and patriotic young men, prepared to serve the nation in various capacities.

The Chief of Army Staff, represented by the GOC 1 Division, Major General Mayirenso Saraso, inspected the parade in line with military tradition, after which the Champion Battalion, was presented with the Champion Banner.

Prizes were also awarded to boys who excelled in academics, military drills, and leadership.

The Army Chief congratulated the graduates, describing their achievements as proof of dedication, discipline, and patriotism.

He urged them to uphold the values instilled in them, pursue excellence, and embrace the ideals of courage and humility as they advance in their careers.

Member of the House of Representatives, Ado Doguwa, assured that the National Assembly will continue to support the Nigerian Army in achieving its objectives.

With the graduation of this set, the Nigerian Military School continues its tradition of grooming future leaders for the Armed Forces, young men ready to defend the nation’s sovereignty and contribute to its development.
