APPEAL FOR PEACE AND TRANQUILITY IN ILELABO LCDA

In his patriotic efforts to ensure sustained peaceful atmosphere in the community, the Chairman Transition Committee of Ilelabo LCDA, Hon. Adesina Alaye, met with the royal fathers, traditional chiefs, religious leaders, youths, Iyaloja, and all stakeholders of Ilelabo and appeal to them to embrace peace during this period. He admonished the people of Ilelabo to remain calm and withdraw from the planned national protest in the interest of peace and tranquility. He walked down the memory lane to remind the people about the colossal loss of lives and property that visited the state as a result of the carnage that accompanied 1983 political unrest. In addition, he made reference to the recent terror unleashed on Lagos State and other places in the country during the EndSARS protest.
