APPEAL COURT JUDGMENT:
AGBAKA OBASUYI CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR AIYEDATIWA, SAYS IT’S A LOUD CALL TO GREATER SERVICE
Following appellate court ruling dismissing the appeal brought before it by Olugbenga Edema of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to challenge All Progressive Congress (APC) primary election, Agbaka Obasuyi Afolabi, the Agbaka of Alagbaka has extended warm congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami, mni, for the victory.
The congratulatory message is contained in a release personally signed and made public by the monarch who described the victory as not just a personal vindication, but a bold reaffirmation of the sacred mandate bestowed upon him by the people of Ondo State.
Agbaka Obasuyi who said the judgment is a glowing testament to the strength, independence, and integrity of the judiciary further acknowledged that there is the need to continually uphold the sanctity of the ballot, rekindle faith in the rule of law and democratic justice.
He further affirmed that there is hope for ordinary Nigerians as justice has been served thereby making it possible for the administration to continue with its good works without distraction.
The statement further reads: “Your Excellency, I wish to congratulate you on this victory. It is a loud call to greater service and a validation of your unwavering dedication to the growth, peace, and prosperity of Ondo State.
“As you continue to lead with wisdom, vision, and compassion, may this legal triumph energize your journey towards greater accomplishments”.
In his charge to the people, the monarch called for patience stressing that Mr. Governor is doing all in his power to bring succour to all sectors of the economy.
