ANNUAL RAMADAN PALLIATIVE TO WIDOWS IN AKOKO NORTH WEST BY HON BANKOLE MOHAMMED
Hon Bankole Mohammed today in Ogbagi Akoko organized an annual Ramadan lecture where he donated package of food items and cash to hundreds of widows across the local government.
This program has been in existence for over decade in remembrance of his late Grandmother who was a devoted Muslim and died during Ramadan.
The Ramadan lecture was Titled ISLAMIC POLITICAL SYSTEM SOLUTIONS TO WORLD PROBLEMS.
At the event was The Kabiyesi The Owa of Ogbagi who appreciates the convener and ask others to emulate him to increase the number of beneficiary in subsequent ones.
The Executive Chairman of Akoko North West Local government Hon Esan Owolabi also at the event appreciate Bankole Mohammed and assured the people of the local government of his readiness to prioritize women empowerment and welfare of the citizens.
A special prayer session was organized for Hon Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo minister of interior, Hon Ife Ehindero member House of representative representing Akoko North East and Akoko North West, LG Chairman Hon Esan Owolabi, the Governor of Ondo State Dr Lucky Ayedatiwa and all the leaders in position of authority from President down to Councilors.
Hon Bankole in his vote of thanks appreciate everyone that presents at the event, he appreciate his mentor Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo for his support towards the program and ask our people to continue praying for BTO because he is a God sent who has been doing well according to the will of Almighty Allah, he also appreciate BTO for his good works that speaks everywhere particularly the employment opportunity given to some of our youths recently in which he promised more, he continue by thanking Mhr Ife Ehindero Chairman House committee on Nelfund for his support, he therefore ask people to inform there children in higher institutions to use the advantage of NELFUND a committee chaired by Hon Ifeoluwa Ehindero as an opportunity to get students loan for self sponsored in their various institutions,Hon Bankole extend his appreciation to everyone who contributed towards the success of the event,He pray to Allah to reward them all
Present at the event were Pa, Alh Oloruntoba, Otunba Kaali Afe both were Apc leaders in the local government, Leader of the House in the LG, some Councilors, members of YTO, party members, community people, friends and families.
