Anambra Governorship candidate esc¶pes assass!nation
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Anambra State, Chief Jude Ezenwafor, narrowly escaped death after unknown gunmen shot at him in Abuja on Friday night.
The incident happened around the Wuse 2 area while he was heading home after a meeting.
He was attacked alongside two other individuals who were with him at the time.
Chief Ezenwafor is currently receiving medical care at a private hospital in Abuja.
Doctors are preparing to remove bullets from his body.
He is said to be in pain and undergoing treatment for serious injuries.
The two other victims of the attack are also receiving care.
It is not yet clear who was behind the shooting or what their motive was.
