AMG PLAYED HOST TO Honourable Dayo Awude
The Asiwaju Mandate Group today played host to Honourable Dayo Awude, a former Deputy Governorship candidate of the Labour Party at the last governorship election in the State, and a former chief of protocols to former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
Received by the Director General of the AMG, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla, the commissioner representing Ondo State at the NDDC, Hon. Otito Atikase and other members of the state working committee of the AMG, Hon. Dayo Awude praised the Minister of Interior and the visioneer of the AMG for his love and respect towards him and for particularly ensuring that his kind of politics is such that affects life of everyone in and around him across the country without seeking against therefrom.
Hon. Awude particularly praised BTO for his role in ensuring that he joins the APC family in Ondo State and for all the supports received before, during and after the decamping exercise which took place at the Akure city hall yesterday.
In his words while presenting a gift to Hon. Dayo Awude on behalf of the Asiwaju Mandate Group, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla highlighted the good qualities of Hon. Dayo Awude and reiterated that he is convinced that his coming into the APC fold will be a blessing and an addition of great and monumental value not only to the party in the state but even at the national level.
Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla assured his guest on behalf of the Honourable Minister that AMG is home and will be delighted to have him contribute his own quarter towards achieving the aims and objectives of the group.
The visit witnessed the presentation of a roll up banner to Hon Dayo Awude in commemoration of the award conferred on him by his Imperial Majesty, the Deji of Akure, Odundun 2, Oba Aladetoyinjo Ogunlade Aladelusi.
