His visionary leadership acumen and philanthropic efforts have positively transformed lives, fostered hope, and brought solace to those in need, and not limited to his native Maiha, but Adamawa State and Nigeria at large.
A seasoned and practicing farmer, after successful retirement, he ventured into a large scale poultry and dairy farming. Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha as the Chief Executive Officer of Zaidi Farms, located in vast land of Kaduna State, which is a well-integrated enterprise with state-of-the-art farming equipments and applies world-class best practices in Animal Husbandry, as well as producing different varieties of farm produce/food items, thereby becoming an employer of labour that goes along way in minimizing the rate of unemployment in our beloved Nation. Equally, As retired public servant with vast wealth of experience in administration and governance, Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha served with unblemished record as Managing Director of the foremost Kaduna Refining and Petrochemicals Company.
Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha is a distinguished leader and a paragon of excellence and humility, whose remarkable life and achievements have been a source of inspiration and blessings to countless Individuals and communities. His selfless dedication to the betterment of humanity has left an indelible mark on the lives of many, earning him a reputation as a true institution of blessings to the good people of Adamawa, and has brought honour, dignity, and respect to his native Maiha without compromising integrity.

It is high time the government of the day recall back this patriot, Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha from retirement to active service; a call to national duty as his vast wealth of experience, rich reservoirs of knowledge, expertise, integrity, leaderships acumen and unwavering commitments to the ideals of democracy is urgently needed at this critical stage of nation’s development with numerous challenges facing the administration, and with all sincerity, truth is must be voiced out, people with impeccable credentials, with unblemished records, with their integrity intact, with unshakable patriotism and who cares for the betterment of Nigeria and Nigerians are the very ones to brings onboard this administration towards revitalizing each and every sector to complete success and prosperity, and Alhaji Idi Mukhtar from Maiha Local Government Area of Adamawa State is Retired but Not Tired!
He can do the job and to complete satisfaction of Nigeria, Nigerians and His Excellency, the President himself, but, if and only if, the efficient and patriot, Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha is brought onboard to serve the nation in any capacity.
The political agenda in Nigeria should address the building of institutions and mechanisms for grooming and electing political leaders, institutions of horizontal accountability, reform of the electoral system, building of democratic culture, regulation of party and campaign financing.
As the saying goes, the rest is now history, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, meritoriously appointed Alhaji Idi Mukhtar Maiha as Pioneer Honourable Minister of Livestock Development and Member of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
