Akoko N’West Chairman commends Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to education
The Chairman of Akoko Northwest Local Government Area, Esan Owolabi has applauded Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa over his recent educational intervention across public schools in the state.
Owolabi described the distribution of educational materials, including books, tablets, and sports equipment, as a commendable step that will significantly strengthen the state’s basic education system.
Recall that the governor officially flagged off the distribution exercise on May 8, 2025, as part of his administration’s effort to enhance learning environments and promote quality education for all.
In a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Olagoke Adeyanju, the chairman praised the governor’s proactive approach.
He noted that such initiatives reflected Governor Aiyedatiwa’s clear dedication to building a stronger and more inclusive educational foundation in Ondo State.
“Governor Aiyedatiwa has consistently demonstrated a genuine commitment to the future of our children. His investment in education is timely and impactful. He is truly a governor who understands and delivers on the standard expected of great leadership,” Owolabi stated.
The chairman also highlighted the broader benefits of the initiative, noting that access to modern learning tools and physical education resources will not only improve academic outcomes but also promote teamwork, physical well-being, and all-round child development.
Reaffirming his own commitment to grassroots development, Owolabi noted that his administration will continue to work in alignment with the state government’s vision.
He assured people in the area that the positive impact of government programs will be felt across all ten wards of Akoko Northwest Local Government.
“Our administration remains steadfast in the pursuit of excellence. We are committed to ensuring that development reaches every corner of our local government,” he added.
