Akoko Northwest U17 Football Club Secures Win Against Oka Superstar
The Akoko Northwest under 17 Football Club has emerged victorious in their match against Oka Superstar, winning 1-0. The thrilling competition took place at the Lenoon Jubilee playground in Ikare Akoko, with supporters of the winning team celebrating with excitement and joy.
Local government chairman, Hon. Model Esan Owolabi, was on hand to encourage the players and congratulate the team on their first win. He assured them of his office’s support throughout the tournament, celebrating their achievement.
The football tournament is an initiative of the Ondo state government, under the Aiyedatiwa-led administration, aimed at promoting sports development and encouraging youth participation in sports activities across the state.
