Abdulrahman Bello: Prime suspect in alleged murder of female final year student moved to Abuja
Abdulrahman Bello, a 25-year-old prime suspect in the alleged gruesome murder of the female final-year student, Yetunde Lawal, has been whisked to Abuja as an investigation into the tragic act intensifies.
Operatives of the Department of State Service, DSS, stormed the Oke-Kura custodial centre in Ilorin, where the suspect is remanded, at about 6:00 p.m. on Thursday for his onward journey to Abuja.
Officials of the Oke-Kura custodial centre could not explain the reasons behind the latest development at the time of this report on Friday.
Abdulrahman Bello was remanded in prison custody until March 20, 2025, by Chief Magistrate Sanusi Mohammed for further hearing.
