This momentous occasion marks a historic milestone in the annals of OSRC Media Group, as our visionary leader, Director-General/CE Kenneth Odusola-Stevenson, celebrates his 100 days in office. These remarkable achievements are a testament to his transformative leadership, unwavering commitment to excellence, and unrelenting passion for innovation.
Reflecting on the past 100 days, it has been marked accomplishments that have profoundly impacted the corporation. These landmark achievements will be etched in the history of OSRC Media Group as a lasting legacy of excellence.
1. Transformational Leadership:
A leadership style characterized by openness, transparency, and a willingness to listen, making him a beloved and respected leader.
2. Staff Welfare Revolution:
A commitment to staff welfare, recognizing and respecting staff, implementing welfare packages, and showing special care for contract staff.
3. Infrastructure Renaissance:
The successful reconnection to the national grid and the procurement of the first solid-state transmitter for Sunshine 96.FM ‘Alalaye’ Radio, among other infrastructure upgrades.
4. Content Innovation:
The introduction of innovative programmes on both TV and Radio arms, enhancing contents and providing more value to viewers and listeners.
5. Expansion and Growth:
Commencement of the process to have OSRC on DSTV/GOTV platforms in order to expand the Corporation’s reach to further solidify its position as a leading media organization.
6. State-of-the-Art Infrastructure:
The installation of industry-cutting-edge lightning arrester and industry-standard earthling system to ensure the protection of our equipment against natural occurrences, and the commencement of the process to install a purpose-designed fibre optic studio-to-transmitter system to provide added protection.
7. Studio Revitalization:
Ongoing work to further recalibrate the big television studio after reactivating it to a functional status, including studio face-lifts to ensure the delivery of high-quality content to our audience.
8. Fleet Revitalization:
Repair of vehicles that have been abandoned over the years to boost operational efficiency.
9. Research and Planning:
Repositioning of the Research, Planning, and Statistics department to improve the Corporation’s performance assessment and feedback
10. Full Transmission Commencement:
Commencement of full transmission of the three stations (Sunshine 96.5FM ‘Alalaye’ OSRC TV, and Orange 94.5FM) from 5:00 am to midnight daily, which started on April 1st, 2025, and the uninterrupted online presence of our radio channels on Radio Gardens.
