As the Executive Chairman of Akoko North West Local Government Area, I am privileged to join my fellow Nigerians in celebrating this significant occasion.
As we reflect on our nation’s journey, we are reminded of the strides we have made. Since the advent of democracy in 1999, we have worked to consolidate our democratic institutions and promote citizen participation in governance. Our democracy has afforded us the liberty to express ourselves, elect our leaders, and hold them accountable.
In Akoko North West, we are dedicated to upholding democratic principles and ensuring that our local government area is governed with transparency, accountability, and responsiveness to the needs of our citizens. We will continue to work assiduously to enhance the lives of our people, provide essential infrastructure and services, and create opportunities for economic growth and development.
