FEFA PAYS APPRECIATION VISIT TO ONE VOICE NETWORK, AKOKO NORTH EAST APC LEADERS FOLLOWING DEFECTION FROM PDP
A political group under the aegis of the FEFA Network has paid a courtesy and appreciation visit to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akoko North East Local Government Area, following their recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The visit, which took place at Oke Oyinmo in Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State, was led by the group’s convener, Hon. Prince Feyisayo Ayodele, and coordinated by Hon. Adeshombe, the General Coordinator of FEFA.
During the meeting, Hon. Adeshombe expressed gratitude to the APC leaders for the warm reception accorded to the group upon their return. He explained that although they were originally members of the APC, internal party issues and external interference had prompted their earlier defection.
He commended the current administration and the state party leadership for restoring order and re-establishing local autonomy within the party structure. According to him, the directive of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has empowered local leaders to manage and oversee their constituencies, giving them renewed confidence to return to the party.
Hon. Adeshombe also extended appreciation to several key figures for their roles in facilitating the group’s return to the APC, including: Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Commissioner for Industry Prince Ademuwagun, Senator Jide Ipinsagba, Hon. Otolorin Elegbeleye, Former Deputy Governor Alhaji Lasisi Oluboyo, Hon. Ali Alihamam, Hon. Varsty, Hon. Maliaka, Hon. Delak, and other prominent APC leaders in Akoko North East.
He further emphasized the group’s renewed commitment to the APC and assured the leadership of their readiness to contribute actively to its growth and electoral success in future elections.
