Surgery error may have caused Hulk Hogan’s d£ath – Report
Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan, who was earlier reported to have died from a heart attack on July 24, 2025, may have been a victim of medical malpractice, TMZ has reported.
According to the outlet, police sources and family members allege that an occupational therapist present at Hogan’s home in Clearwater, Florida, said a surgeon may have severed the phrenic nerve, a crucial nerve that controls breathing, during a recent procedure.
Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, told TMZ Sports: “His phrenic nerve was compromised during one of his recent surgeries.”
Daily added that an autopsy has already been conducted but declined to disclose the results, saying: “I’m not at liberty to release those details at this time.” She also confirmed that Hogan’s body has not yet been cremated.
Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, has also raised concerns over the official account of his death. In an Instagram post, she claimed: “I’ve received legit calls from professionals — from police officials to nurses that were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death — telling me I need to see body cam footage and get a hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative.”
She further alleged: “I have zero control over these records. It’s all up to my dad’s wife, Sky Daily.”
Authorities in Clearwater have yet to release an official statement on the allegations or the outcome of their investigation, but the new claims have thrown a fresh spotlight on the events leading to Hogan’s death and raised calls for greater transparency.
