Akure, Ondo State — July 29, 2025

The Southwest 2 Regional Office of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) paid an official courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC), Prince Biyi Poroye, in what has been described as a fruitful and result-oriented engagement.

The delegation was led by the Regional Coordinator, Mrs. Onadeko Fumnanya, accompanied by the Ondo State Coordinator, Dr. Wuraola Akinrinlola, and the Secretary to the Regional Coordinator, Princess Fayemi Oluyemisi, along with other senior officials of the commission.

During the meeting, the NIMC team presented a set of strategic requests aimed at deepening collaboration and expanding identity management coverage within the oil-producing communities of the state. In a commendable show of partnership and support, all requests submitted by the commission were graciously approved by the OSOPADEC Chairman.

In her remarks, Mrs. Onadeko Fumnanya expressed sincere appreciation to Prince Biyi Poroye for the warm reception and swift approval of their proposals. She emphasized that the partnership with OSOPADEC would significantly enhance NIMC’s efforts in ensuring wider data coverage and improved service delivery in underserved areas.

He commended the leadership of NIMC for its proactive engagement and pledged continuous support for future collaborations.
