EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION: A CRUSADE AGAINST HARD DRUGS AND CHILD TRAFFICKING IN DELTA STATE

Amb. Dr. Favour J. Obakoro, SSA on Morals and Diaspora Affairs, affectionately known as Vida Modelo, is leading a groundbreaking initiative to safeguard the future of Delta State’s children. In collaboration with fellow Senior Special Assistants, SSAs, the program’s aims to reach out to children in rural villages, creeks, and streets, providing them with essential learning materials and sensitizing them on the dangers of hard drugs, such as marijuana, cocaine, and heroin.

This initiative emphasizes the importance of protecting children from exploitation and trafficking, with a special focus on the Girl Child, who is often more vulnerable. Her’s advocacy underscores the need for collective action to shield children from these societal threats and encourages parents to play an active role in safeguarding their wards.

As a proud supporter of Governor Sheriff Francis Oborevwori’s administration, Dr. Favour’s efforts align with the M.O.R.E Agenda’s vision for a better Delta State. The Governor’s leadership has demonstrated remarkable commitment to improving the lives of Deltans, and she is advocating for full support for the administration’s initiatives is a proof to its impact.

Through this program, she and her team are giving voice to the voiceless and vulnerable child, providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive. By working together, we can create a safer, brighter future for all.

Join the movement: Say NO to Hard Drugs, Protect Our Children, and Let’s Build a Brighter Future for Delta State!
