Ghanaians Demand Action Against Nigerian Man Claiming Igbo Kingship in Ghana

A wave of public outcry has erupted in Ghana as citizens call on authorities to immediately stop Dr. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, a Nigerian Igbo man, from parading himself as the king of the Igbo community in the country.

The backlash follows reports that Dr. Ihenetu has allegedly acquired 50 acres of land with the intention of establishing an Igbo kingdom in Ghana — a move many Ghanaians view as a threat to national sovereignty and cultural order.

Concerned citizens are urging the government to investigate the legality of his activities and take necessary measures to prevent the creation of a parallel traditional structure on Ghanaian soil. Authorities are yet to issue an official response to the growing concerns.
