LET THERE BE LIGHT IN KWALE, DELTA STATE

By: Amb. Eki David Greg, MKO (08100247710)

The persistent darkness in Kwale, Delta State, is a pressing concern that demands urgent attention. Despite being blessed with natural resources, the community has endured over a decade without reliable electricity, a fundamental necessity for modern life.

*A CALL TO ACTION*

The Bible says, “Let there be light” (Genesis 1:3) It’s time for the federal, state, and local governments to collaborate and address this issue. Leaders must prioritize the welfare of their citizens and ensure that Kwale enjoys the benefits of its resources.

*LEADERSHIP AND ACCOUNTABILITY*

Local chiefs, community presidents, and leaders must wake up to their responsibilities. “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34) Effective leadership can bring about positive change.

*BREAKING THE CYCLE OF DARKNESS*

It’s a shame that in the 21st century, Kwale lacks basic infrastructure. “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.” (Isaiah 9:2) Let’s work together to bring light to Kwale.

*A COLLECTIVE EFFORT*

We must walk the talk and take concrete steps to address this issue. “Let us consider how we may spur one another toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)

*KWALE DESERVES BETTER*

Kwale needs light – not just electricity, but also opportunities for growth and development. Let’s join forces to make this a reality.

*TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE*

As the Bible says, “Many hands make light work.” (Proverbs 15:1, paraphrased) Let’s work together to bring light and progress to Kwale.
