Chief Lawrence Adenugba, a respected community leader and statesman in Ondo State, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Biyi Poroye on his recent appointment as the Chairman of the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC).

In a congratulatory message released to newsmen on Monday afternoon, Chief Adenugba described Hon. Poroye’s appointment as “timely and well-deserved,” expressing confidence in his ability to bring transformational leadership to OSOPADEC, an agency critical to the development of oil-producing communities in the state.

“I congratulate Hon. Biyi Poroye on his appointment as the new OSOPADEC chairman. He is a seasoned administrator and grassroots mobilizer whose track record speaks for itself.

I am confident that under his leadership, the commission will witness renewed focus, transparency, and people-oriented development,” Chief Adenugba stated.

He further commended Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, for what he termed “a visionary and inclusive style of leadership” in making strategic appointments that reflect a commitment to competence, equity, and progress.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has continued to demonstrate political maturity and a deep understanding of the developmental needs of our state. His choice of Hon. Poroye is another testament to his responsive governance. We appreciate his efforts to reposition OSOPADEC and other agencies for optimal service delivery,” Adenugba added.

Chief Adenugba urged stakeholders in the oil-producing areas, as well as the general public, to support Hon. Poroye and the commission in achieving its mandate.

He also called for unity and collaboration across political lines, stressing that development must remain the priority in the Niger Delta communities of Ondo State.
