Eid Mubarak!

President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces,
Federal Republic of Nigeria,
I, Hon. Engr. Ajibola Israel Famurewa, FNSE, wish to extend my warmest felicitations to you on this auspicious occasion of Eid Mubarak. As the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and around the world gather to celebrate this momentous occasion, I pray that the blessings of Allah be upon us all.
As we commemorate the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son in obedience to Allah’s command, let us reflect on the lessons of sacrifice, compassion, and care for one another that this occasion embodies. I urge all adherents of the Islamic faith to live out the teachings of our noble religion by catering for the needs of the less privileged, the widows, and the orphans, not just during this season but beyond. Let us strive to build a society that is more just, equitable, and compassionate.
To the entire Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and the world over, I wish you a peaceful and joyous Eid Mubarak celebration. May the blessings of Allah be upon us all, and may our festivities be filled with love, laughter, and gratitude. I pray that this occasion brings us closer to our families, our communities, and our Creator. Once again, Eid Mubarak!
