Governor Sanwo-olu get new appointment
I’m honoured to be appointed as Patron of the newly established Centre for African Social and Economic Transformation (CASET) at the University of the West of England, Bristol.
This appointment is a recognition of the work we’re doing in Lagos and a powerful reminder of the importance of collaboration in shaping Africa’s future.
CASET brings together academics, policymakers, and industry leaders to address some of the continent’s most pressing challenges. It’s about building partnerships that can drive real, lasting change and that is something we are deeply committed to in Lagos.
I’m especially proud that the University recognises the progress we’ve made in areas such as entrepreneurship and digital innovation. These are central to our vision for a more inclusive and resilient Lagos.
This role presents an opportunity to deepen our ties with UWE Bristol and explore new ways to build capacity, shape policy, and support the next generation of African changemakers.
