OSPMC Chairman mourns Ondo Gov Akeredolu SAN;CON

Ondo State Parks Management Committee Chairman Comrade Adebo Jacob IDAJO has expressed sadness on the death of Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON on behalf of the committee describing him as an exceptional statesman who made indelible marks in service to his people.

The creation of Amotekun not only underscores Akeredolu’s commitment to the well-being of his people but also serves as a model for other regions grappling with security concerns. By taking decisive action, the governor showed that he prioritizes the safety of his people, contributing to a sense of reassurance and stability in Ondo State.

His Excellency, the late Governor also recorded another milestone achievement with the acquisition of licences for Ondo Seaport. Governor Akeredolu’s tenure is marked by a holistic approach to governance, with a keen focus on the welfare and protection of his people through strategic policies and initiatives, he has demonstrated a genuine concern for the socio-economic development of Ondo State and Nigeria

Our heartfelt condolences go to the Progressives Governors’ Forum, the government and people of Ondo State, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), as well as the immediate family of our leader and late Governor His Excellency Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN; CON.

IDAJO said in a personal statement.

AKETI, a frontline lawyer and conscientious politician of progressive bent, would be remembered for his courage, patriotism, and immeasurable contributions to the constitutional and sociopolitical development of Nigeria.

He will be remembered as a man who stood and defended the territorial integrity of the Southwest when the peace and safety of the region was constantly threatened.

As painful as his exit is to all of us, we take solace in his fine legacies as a gentleman and statesman. We ask God to repose his soul and look after his family.
