In a dedicated effort led by The Coalition Of Nigerian Youths On Security (CONYSSA), the comprehensive two-day Operation Stay Safe Campaign unfolded to bolster road safety awareness in the community. Spearheaded by Osewa Adeshina Vincent, the State Coordinator, the initiative commenced at Road Block NURTW Park & FUTA NORTHGATE NURTW Park on the 19th of December 2023, seamlessly transitioning to OGBESE MARKET on the 20th.

The facilitator from the FRSC Agency, O.F. Umukoro, played a crucial role in delivering vital insights to drivers, emphasizing precautionary measures and safety protocols. The campaign prioritized passenger vigilance and involved members of Conyssa in promoting seat belt usage and educating drivers about adhering to speed limits.

A cohesive team of approximately 30 uniformed personnel, in collaboration with road safety officials, actively addressed prevalent traffic challenges at Ogbese Market. This collaborative approach sought not only to facilitate a smoother flow of traffic during market days but also to impart crucial knowledge to NURTW members regarding the significance of adhering to traffic rules.

The success of the Operation Stay Safe Campaign was evident in its multifaceted outcomes. The initiative seamlessly combined detailed awareness sessions, collaborative efforts with local stakeholders, and the dedicated involvement of uniformed personnel, reflecting a proactive commitment to community well-being.

In conclusion, the Operation Stay Safe Campaign emerges as a commendable endeavor symbolizing a proactive stride towards reinforcing a culture of responsible driving and safety consciousness within the community.
