Amember of the House of Representatives, Oluwole Oke, from Osun State, has officially resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), ending a decades-long association with the opposition party.

I have resigned from the PDP,” the lawmaker confirmed.
His resignation letter, dated April 16, 2025, was addressed to the PDP Chairman in Ward 7, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State.
The letter, which was obtained by the PUNCH, indicated that the decision followed wide consultations with his political associates, friends, and family members.
The six-term federal lawmaker did not disclose his next political move but urged his supporters and loyalists to also leave the PDP and await further direction from him.
