EASTER MESSAGE FROM HONOURABLE GAMBO LEKO, MEMBER REPRESENTING DASS, BOGORO, AND TAFAWA BALEWA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY, BAUCHI STATE

As Christians in Dass, Bogoro, and Tafawa Balewa, across Bauchi State, Nigeria, and the world at large mark this sacred season of Easter, I, Hon. Gambo Leko, extend my heartfelt greetings and solidarity to the Christian community.
Easter is a solemn reminder of the sacrifice and unconditional love of Jesus Christ, who gave His life for mankind — not because we deserved it, but because of grace. This act of divine love and redemption forms the foundation of Christianity and stands as a guiding principle for all believers. It is a call to love one another, forgive, and foster unity.
I wish to sincerely appreciate my constituents for the overwhelming support, trust, and encouragement you have continued to show me. It is your belief in our shared vision that keeps driving my passion to serve.
As we celebrate Easter, I urge all of us to reflect on the meaning of the season and extend Christ-like love, peace, and compassion to one another. Let us use this period to strengthen our bonds, heal divisions, and promote harmony in our communities. Without peace, development will continue to elude us, as no meaningful progress can take place in the absence of unity and security.
On my part, I pledge to remain committed to serving you with sincerity and dedication. I will continue to work hard to ensure that the people of Dass, Bogoro, and Tafawa Balewa benefit fully from the dividends of democracy.
I also use this opportunity to call on fellow politicians, especially those representing various communities within Bauchi State, to put political differences aside and unite in the common goal of bringing development and good governance to our people. Our people deserve a better life, and it is our duty to work as a team to deliver it.
Furthermore, I want to commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his administration for the genuine efforts being made to reposition Nigeria’s economy for the good of all. The road may be tough, but with unity, patience, and perseverance, we shall overcome and see the fruits of these reforms.
Once again, I wish the Christian community a blessed Easter. May this season renew our hope, deepen our faith, and inspire us to live in love and unity.
