CHAIRMAN OWOLABI COMMISSIONED* BOREHOLE PROJECT AT AFIN AKOKO
The Number One Citizen in Akoko Northwest Local Government, Ondo State, Hon. Esan John Owolabi has commissioned an industrial borehole project donated by Samuel Olutuyi Foundation to the usefulness of people of the Afin Akoko on Saturday April 12th, 2015.
The borehole project was a pressing demand by the people of Afin some years back and their prayers has been answered today.
The uncommon chairman expressed his happiness over the project. He thanked the NGO for given the local government the opportunity to benefit from such reputable organization.
He urged the local government people to work with him in building the area to the world class in areas of development.
Owolabi advised the residents of Afin Akoko to make use of the project judiciously and protect it against any vandalism.
Others who spoke at the commissioning ceremony, expressed their delights in the water project as one of its kind and timely.
They however urged others to emulate the merciful donor in the area.
The Afin Akoko people expressed renewed hope and confidence in the leadership of Hon. Esan Owolabi as the chairman in the local government.
