Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has restated his administration’s commitment to completing all ongoing road projects across the state.
The Governor made this assurance on Wednesday during an inspection tour of key road rehabilitation and asphalt overlay projects in Akure, the state capital. Accompanied by his Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, Engr. Abiola Ayorinde Olawoye FNSE, and the, the Governor emphasized that infrastructure development remains a top priority under his administration’s OUR EASE agenda.
During the inspection, the Governor assessed progress at Odopetu, Iloro-Owe Akala, and Odi-Olowo, where asphalt overlay projects are nearing completion. He also visited Oda Road, Ijoka Road, and the Irese Flyover, assuring residents that the projects would be completed soon.
Residents of Akure expressed appreciation for the ongoing infrastructure development, commending the Governor for addressing roads that had been neglected for decades.
Special Adviser on Infrastructure, Engr. Ayorinde Olawoye, lauded the Governor’s unwavering commitment to urban renewal and infrastructure development. He assured the people of Ondo State that all road projects across the three senatorial districts would be delivered to the highest standard. “Every part of the state will feel the impact of this administration’s infrastructural strides. We are committed to ensuring that these roads are completed and meet the best engineering standards,” Engr. Olawoye said.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also inspected the Shagari-Onyearugbulem Flyover, emphasizing that it was 70% complete and would be commissioned in the coming months, commending Engr. Olawoye’s efforts in seeing to the actualization of his vision.
