Hon. Bidemi Joshua Obayangban, Special Assistant on Forestry to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, congratulates Governor Aiyedatiwa and Deputy Governor Olayide Adelami on their Supreme Court victory.
The Supreme Court has dismissed the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Agboola Ajayi, challenging Governor Aiyedatiwa’s qualification in the November 16, 2024, Ondo State governorship election. The apex court ruled the appeal as baseless, frivolous, and lacking merit, thereby upholding the decisions of the Federal High Court and the Court of Appeal, which had previously dismissed Ajayi’s case on procedural grounds.
Hon. Obayangban applauds the ruling, emphasizing that it allows the administration to focus fully on governance and developmental projects without further legal distractions. He further calls on the good people of Ondo State to support Governor Aiyedatiwa’s government, urging unity and cooperation for the continued progress of the state.
