It should be noted that at the beginning of the Process, *Highly Celebrated Politician and Industrialist Otunba (Dr.) Ronke Kolade Carew* was appointed as the Chairman of the Planning Committee for the SUMMIT which was highly adjuged to be very successful.

Speaking to Journalists after the Inaugural SUMMIT in Ijebu Ode, The CONVENER of the SUMMIT, *Amb. (Dr.) Adewale Adeogun* thanked God for the Inspiration and for the Success of the First phase of the SUMMIT.
He hinted that the SUMMIT will be held in the Six States of the Region and that Proposal has been made for Ondo State to host the next edition very Soon.

Adeogun appreciated the Organising Committee led by Dr. Ronke Kolade Carew for a job well done and wish that the next phase will be better Organised and will involve all the Leadership of Support Groups from the Region.

The Aim of this SUMMIT according to Amb. Adeogun is to draw the attention of Mr. President and other Elected and Appointed Officers in this Government who are from the Region, not to look away from the Welfare of Leaders and Members of Support Groups who were there before, during and after the last General Elections.
The Participants unanimously pledged to continue to Support the Current Government under the Leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.
