Bayelsa Governor Douye Diri Emerges Chairman Of South-South Governors’ Forum
Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River will serve as the deputy chairman of the forum.
The governors of the South-South region have elected Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State as the chairman of their forum.
The governors made the unanimous decision at the Bayelsa State House, Creek Haven, on Tuesday, with Akwa Ibom, Cross-River, Delta, and Rivers’ governors present, while the Edo state governor was absent.
Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River will serve as the deputy chairman of the forum.
