Massive Blow to Ondo PDP as Top Strategist, Omotere Benson Adeola Joins APC, Led by Influence of Aiyedatiwa’s SSA, Olaolu Kelvin Solomon
In a major setback for the Ondo PDP, Omotere Benson a respected political strategist and former Senior Adviser on Political Matters to ex-Governor Segun Mimiko has defected to the APC. His decision to join the APC was inspired by the visionary leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and, significantly, the grassroots influence of his Senior Special Assistant, Olaolu Kelvin Solomon. Adding to the impact, Hon. Kevin Solomon also facilitated the defection of an additional 50 PDP members, all following Benson’s lead in pledging allegiance to the APC.
This wave of defections, spearheaded by Benson and supported by over a fifty committed members, is a substantial blow to the PDP’s presence in Ward 1, Afo, Ose Local Government.
