“I don’t like the old me at all” – DJ Cuppy hints at quitting DJing
Nigerian DJ and musician Florence Otedola, known as DJ Cuppy, has sparked speculation about a career shift after hinting at stepping away from DJing.
In a recent post on her X (formerly Twitter) handle, Cuppy expressed that while DJing has always been her passion, she feels a strong pull this year to “level up” and make a greater impact.
“DJing is my passion, but tbh this year has felt like a whole new experience, like I’m meant to level up and make a bigger impact… Only God knows what’s next,” she wrote.
Her post drew mixed reactions, with one fan commenting, “Start DJing again. I have missed your vibes on IG. I don’t like the new you at all.”
In response, Cuppy candidly replied, “I don’t like the old me at all.”
In another post, she asked her followers to suggest a new career path, assuring her ‘cupcakes’ of following through.
“What do YOU think is up next for me? 💡 Cupcakes, I would actually really love to hear your ideas, especially since you’re seeing it from a different angle! Your insights might spark something new! Who knows…,” she added.
