OLOJO FESTIVAL, ADEOGUN FELICITATE WITH OONI, APPRECIATE HIS PATROTISM AS HE APPLAUDED NIGERIAN SENATE FOR THE SPEEDY PASSAGE OF THE SOUTHWEST DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION BILLS.

Adewale Adeogun, the Convener of the Southwest Political Summit Initiative has sent a very Special Congratulatory message to His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeoye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife on the peaceful completion of this year Annual Olojo Festivals.

Adeogun who led a powerful delegation of the Leadership of the Southwest Political Summit Initiative to the Palace in Ife thanked the Monarch for His constant fatherly roles and contributions towards building a Strong and United Nigeria where all Nigerians can live together in peace and harmony.

Adeogun recalled the contributions of the Ooni to the success of the activities of his initiative which took them on a tour of all the states in the region at the earlier stage and thanked him for his encouragement as Grandpatron.

Adeogun also applauded the leadership and members of the 10th Senate for the Speedy Passage of the Southwest Development Commission Bill and urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to sign the Bills into Law without delay.

Adewale Adeogun recalled the efforts of the Political Summit Initiative during the formative stage of this bill and pledged the support of his Members to make the Law works for the overall Development and Unlimited benefits of the Southwest region.

Similar appreciations were also extended to various individuals and stakeholders who supported the initiative from the onset. These include All the state governors in the region, Pa. Ruben Fasanranti, Chief Bisi Akande, His Imperial Majesty, Oba AbdulRasheed Adewale Akanbi, the Oluwo of Iwo land, and All the Obas in the Southwest, Rt. Hon. G. Nasiru Isiaka, Engineer Kayode Ojo and all Political leaders in the Region, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, and hosts of other Eminent Yoruba Sons and Daughters. Adeogun also used the occasion to appeal to Nigerians to give the Present Government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Gcfr chance to implement it’s Renewed Hope Agenda and policies which he believed would take Nigeria to the promised land soon. He equally felicitate with All Nigerians on the occasion of Nigeria 64th Independent Anniversary as he prays for peace in the country.
