Fellow citizens of Nasarawa and Nigeria
As we celebrate Nasarawa’s 28th anniversary and Nigeria’s 64th independence, I am filled with gratitude, hope, and a sense of responsibility.
Our beloved state has come a long way since its creation in 1996. From humble beginnings, we have grown into a vibrant community, rich in culture and diversity. I am proud to have served as your governor from 2011 to 2019 and as senator, contributing to our development.
We have done our best in the area of Infrastructure development, education and healthcare reforms, conomic empowerment initiatives etc.
Our nation’s story is one of courage, perseverance, and resilience. We have faced numerous challenges, but our unity and determination have always prevailed.
As we move forward we we need to empower our youths the more, Invest in quality education, healthcare, economic opportunities, foster unity, bridge ethnic and religious divides through inclusive policies and promote good governance, ensure accountability, transparency, and effective service delivery.
Priorities for Nasarawa are Agricultural development, Infrastructure expansion and Human capital development
Priorities for Nigeria are National unity and security, Economic diversification and Anti-corruption measures
Let us work together to build a brighter future for Nasarawa and Nigeria.
Thank you.
